All of the beaches mentioned above are large, sandy and very family friendly.
Some of the larger beach resorts, such as Canet Plage and Narbonne Plage, also sport a number of bars and restaurants with views of the coast line.
There are also a number of different waterparks. Notably the Aqualand chain has 3 parks within the area, Aqualand Cap D’Agde, Aqualand Saint Cyprien and Aqualand Port Leucate.
